Lyric tenor with large vocal ambitus, with a high register of extraordinary clearness, Fanateanu distinguished oneself by theatrical expressiveness, sobriety of character interpretation, strictness of scores respecting, clearly diction, but above all natural expression of music, coloured with elegant phrasing, full of expressiveness.
